Work history

Product Director – Bloom & Wild, 2015 – 2017

Bloom & Wild is the original letterbox flower delivery company, redefining the flower delivery experience and making the giving and receiving of beautiful fresh flowers the joy it is meant to be.

We have free next day flower delivery across the UK via Royal Mail, guaranteed next day flower delivery via DPD courier as an option and 2 day delivery to Republic of Ireland. We also offer Bloom & Wild Now, a two-hour flower delivery service in London.

Our unique design means our flowers can be delivered straight through the letterbox by post, without the recipient needing to be in to receive them. All flowers are hand-packed with protective covers over the larger flowers to ensure they arrive in pristine condition, ready for styling into a beautiful bouquet or posy set.

We are the UK’s leading flower delivery app and top rated online florist on independent review sites.

As part of the senior leadership team, I report to the CEO/Co-Founder and am responsible for product and technology, heading up a team of product managers, designers and developers.

Head of Tech Delivery – Zopa, 2013-2015

User-centric digital-first finance at Zopa, the UK’s leading peer-to-peer lending company. Responsible for technology delivery, including product, UX & process.

Zopa is the founder of peer-to-peer lending and one of the first fin-tech companies to emerge in what is now one of the UK’s most exciting sectors. At it’s core is the promise of simple loans and smart investments. It was founded to solve a simple problem: people borrowing money were being charged high rates and those able to invest money were getting low returns. Zopa changes this by matching borrowers and investors directly, so that both are better off. The goal is to make money simple and fair, shaping the future of finance.

After joining as Zopa’s first product manager, I helped to build a product culture as we scaled from 40 to 150 people, and was promoted, ultimately being responsible for product and tech delivery and heading up a team of product managers, UX designers and QA specialists.
